I love the look of the sugar cane plumes this time of year all along the roadsides and old fallow fields...
Cool, gentle breezes
Shimmery pink plumes swaying
Christmas time is here

Hi, Sue! I can imagine. I've been hearing about the awful weather all of y'all have had in the last few days....
I'm so glad your mom liked the cookbook....amd I hope your daughter will like hers.
Yes, I was finally able to comment in your blog....no idea what the problem was, but seems to be taken care of now...Your Christmas tablescape is absolutely lovely....and I have fallen in love with the 'Between Naps on the Porch' blog! It's going to take weeks to go over all of the different Tablescape Thursdays contributions! What a great idea!

This is just what I needed to see while I'm freezing in Illinois! I was glad to see you were finally able to leave a comment! I gave my mom her cookbook for her birthday...she loved it! My daughter's is for Christmas.
