Nothing like it, is it, kojak? Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment!

I grow up eating platano en tentacion in Panama, the plantains where so ripe and so sweet, bring back good memory!!

Hi, j r., With your husband having been born in Jamaica and you living in So. Florida, I can imagine you do eat plantains fairly often....There are so many ways to prepare them and I love all of them. My Cuban grandmother's Green Plantain Soup was delicious!

FrugalMom

They look fantastic! We eat a lot of plantains around here, mostly just ripe and boiled. My husband will eat the unripe ones boiled as well, and sometimes we fry the ripe ones. I have not tried these baked in sherry ones since my first visit to England (somewhere around 1992 I think).

Hi, Carol....thank you! My cookbook is still available through Amazon....they only order copies from me when they receive orders for them. You can also get it through Amazon new and used (they are brand new) or through me.

Carol

Sonia,
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a nice comment. When your cookbook is back in stock I will order it from Amazon.

Your blog is beautiful.

Carol
