Every day is a joy...Every day something new is happening...
Three beautiful Water Hyacinths blooming in the Chinese jardiniere this morning; the papyrus is growing a lot since it was planted about a month ago.
The Spathoglottis "Purple Haze" have opened and there are two more bloom stalks coming up
The large bud 'sheath' on the new lily clumps, in the Amarilys family - we think it is a Crinodonna Lily (X Amarcrinum memoria-corsii) opened up and this was a surprise! I thought it was going to be the light pink like the ones blooming a couple of weeks ago, but this one is a deeper pink - beautiful...and there are several more buds yet to open. Looks like this one will be enjoyed for a while!
The Thai basil is bursting out all over and the bees are loving it!
One of our dwarf banana trees is putting out new leaves...I love to see them when they are so fresh and new...
We also have been harvesting Japanese eggplants, Roma tomatoes and Habanero peppers!
