My husband and I used to entertain a lot, especially around the Holidays and hosted a yearly Christmas Party at our river home.
This was my signature punch but had to always caution everyone........it goes down like silk and you don't realize how potent it is.........it really packs a punch.....(sorry for the pun!)
PEACH CHAMPAGNE PUNCH
1 bottle of Gold rum
1 pint Peach Brandy
1 1/2 pint Apricot Brandy
1 cup sugar
Put the rum, peach and apricot brandies in the refrigerator until ready to mix. Pour them into a punch bowl and add the sugar, mix well to dissolve sugar. Be careful as the sugar will make the alcohol mixture foam up.
Slowly add 6 bottles of champagne (very cold)
To make it less potent, you can add Ginger Ale or Sprite, to taste (very cold)
To keep it cold in the punch bowl you can add a wreath of frozen peach juice and Sprite or Ginger Ale. Beautiful if you add slices or cut up peaches and berries. To make a wreath, pour the frozen peach juice and soda into a ring or Bundt mold.
Serve in flutes or punch cups.
